I need some inspo as I've been asked to add a few more things to my list and can't think of anything else I want/need..

Sorry if this thread has been done, I couldn't find anything but that could just be me!

Some brass pots for my plants
Merino wool socks
Nice cheese
Dehydrated meal kits (backpack camping)
Scotch

The expensive-ish paper I want for my online art class. £40 for ten sheets of a3.
I know I have the paint I wanted. £48 instead of £168. A wonderful Black Friday find. 20 half pans.
Books are always welcome.
I like the sound of cashmere socks too.

I won’t be getting anything other than the paints. (Thank you mom) kids are too young to shop and dp rarely buys gifts for anyone.

Are cashmere socks warm? I’ve tried merino wool, alpaca wool. Nothing keeps my feet warm.

Cashmere socks are warm but mostly they are very soft - they wear very easily so best to wear slippers with them. I love cashmere but I’m not convinced they are a good idea, just too delicate but sometimes practicality is not the point.

Thanks for the info @AnotherLogOnTheFire Maybe I’ll add them to my list of things I won’t receive. Although warm socks would be most welcome.

Just one week without the constant viruses, illness, travel disruptions and other stuff of 2022.

But in term-time, so I can enjoy it.

Forgot to come back to this thread!

Thanks for the ideas. The book ideas have made me think of a book subscription. Or a voucher for Typo or Oliver Bonas. Also maybe a Chinese or Asian cookery class if I can find a good one. I've found some prints for the house on Etsy as well.

Feel like I need to Google Neom. Was also tempted by the Velvetiser thread too but feel like I want to try before I buy on that one! Never seen their stores giving samples.
