I'm thinking of their talent as an actor but I'll let you decide what makes them so watchable.

Ralph Fiennes for me.

And I've just forgotten the rest of my list.

Sam West
Matthew McFadyen
Paul Mescal
Olivia Colman
Juliet Stevenson
Rebecca Front
All have that quality of being immensely watchable. Sounds like damning with faint praise but that's not how I mean it! Grin

Fiona Shaw and Charlotte Rampling are both magnificent.
Amy Adams is a joy. Pitch-perfect in The Muppets and Enchanted.
Viola Davis – SO charismatic.
Toby Jones is a totally safe pair of hands; never feel like he's not going to be excellent. So understated and believable.
Saoirse Ronan. Not just a great performance but an above-and-beyond performance in everything.
Joan Cusack. Not as well-known/praised as she deserves to be.
Jack O'Connell: amazing charisma. Would love him to be James Bond.
The late lamented Chadwick Boseman. So horribly unfair what happened to him.

@MarcelEtCeleste and @mackthepony

Have either of you seen Valhalla Rising? I can't see Mads Mickelson without getting a flashback to one of the worst films I've ever seen. Though he does get his shirt off, I'll give you that.

The first two names to come to mind for me were Nicola Walker and Florence Pugh. I'd watch anything NW is in - she's just brilliant. I can't think of a male actor who I feel that way about though lots of the names here are great.

That said, has anyone mentioned Tom Burke yet?!
