Do your husbands/other halves help with putting up the Christmas Tree?

Every year I do it and he shows no interest. I sometimes wonder if I wasn't here would he even put one up at all.

Yes. DH does the lights around the window & outside, the wall decorations and the wreath on the door. DS(17) & I do the tree and mantelpiece.

Yes we all go and buy a real tree then put up and decorate together with a glass of sherry. I do most of the bauble placing because I'm a control freak!

Mine does , he puts our 3 up and helps decorate and then he goes to my sisters and does her outside light display and helps with her indoor tree .

Yes, he gets all the stuff down from the loft and puts it in the stand. He'll then do the outside lights.
Kids and I do the rest which is how I like it.

Mine takes me to the farm to collect the tree, chops a bit of the end, and sticks it in its tree holder thingy and that's his job done! He does say it looks nice though but that's more out of politeness than because he gives a shit!

Yes! We go to buy the tree each year as family then all decorate it together.

It's me that can't be bothered in this house. Kids not particularly bothered either. DH likes to do it so I let him crack on

I have never put up a Christmas tree. I’m 50

Mine buys it and sets it up on the stand (and takes it down at after Christmas). I then decorate it. Which suits me fine 🙂

No. By time he gets home and showered etc its too late. So i crack on when hes at work and kids are at school

Mine wouldn't put it up if I didn't but he does appreciate my taking the time to put up the tree & decorate it. It used to be kept in the loft & I'd have to wait for him to get it down, but now it's under the stairs and I can do it all myself, though he does help by getting the boxes out sometimes.

Don’t bother getting one as won’t be at our home on Xmas day!

Yes. We do the tree and the decorations in the house together. He is in charge of the outside lights (there's not many to be honest) and I assist with handing him cable ties....

Everything usually fuelled by Christmas CD's and a bottle of damson vodka liqueur.

It's the other way round for us - DH does it all and TBH if he didn't, I probably wouldn't bother but I didn't grow up celebrating Christmas

He does it ALL! I am NOT allowed anywhere near it. He helps the kids with their little trees

I take it down though as I am an expert in packing all the individual boxes of Xmas ornaments back into our big Xmas decorations box.

Yes! I love Xmas! I love the lights (approx 5k inside and out) and decorating the tree.

We choose it together, he saws the bottom off and puts it in the stand, I decorate, with the kids if they want to. He also gets the decorations out of the loft.
Pretty good division of labour here.

DP puts tree up and does the lights then the kids put on the decorations 😊 I supervise with a nice glass of sherry. (That's a lie btw no one drinks sherry 🤣)

My OH always does it, he loves it.
