Anything with "ies" on the end, especially panties and titties. And doggies, unless you're 5 years old.
And "face" I really don't know why, but i hate it. facebook, facetime.....

Gig. I can't bring myself to say it but realise 'going to a concert' can sound twatty

tillytoodles1 · 05/12/2022 21:15

Crumbs, Fambo and Holibobs. My all time favourite (or hated) is "making memories".

AriettyHomily · 05/12/2022 21:15

Can I add 'we're pregnant'

Monoprix · 05/12/2022 21:16

Crimbo, not crumbs.

snoodle1 · 05/12/2022 21:18

Adjectives used in place of verbs. Makes people sound thick. I heard a university student do this three times today....
" She cooked it quick...."
" He speaks really slow..."
" He dresses nice..."

The scary thing is, she's studying English Literature!

Boob when referring to breastfeeding, as in give baby the boob.

Familam.

Pudding in the sense of dessert. Don't have a problem with sponge pudding etc.

flinginflangin · 05/12/2022 21:23
