Nevermind the super noodles where's the Mitchum?

CoffeeBoy · 05/12/2022 20:31

Where is the nescafe cafe menu toffee nut latte. Tesco and Morrisons have actually removed the labels from the shelves now. Sainsburys is hit and miss with it.

hugoagogo · 05/12/2022 20:44

it seems they may all be in iamjustwinginglife;s attic! supply issues

I haven’t been able to get Tesco cream crackers for weeks and weeks!

Bought some posh expensive Jacobs ones a couple of weeks ago but even they are unavailable now. I don’t want a mixed box, I just want some cream crackers 😩😩

Go to Lidl and get their own brand, they're about 20p for a big packet

TheOrigRights · 05/12/2022 20:49

They're all in our local Jet garage shop.

YourWinter · 05/12/2022 20:50

Home Bargains had loads!

LesOliviers · 05/12/2022 20:50

Look in the world food aisle of your local supermarket. Any of the instant supernoodle type noodles there are much nicer. Nissin and ko-lee are my faves.

Go to your local Chinese supermarket, they have loads and so many different flavours too! They don’t do Bachelors obviously but the ‘Nissan’ ones are great, my Chinese friend recommended them, they come with a packet of flavouring and a little sachet of chilli oil.

Thank you for this, sounds lush!

grayhairdontcare · 05/12/2022 20:57

Gone on holiday with the Day Nurse capsules .

Persimmo · 05/12/2022 20:59

Koka are the best!

justcallmebozo · 05/12/2022 21:16

Supernoodles? Thank god they're gone. Foul things. Can we get rid of the potnoodles as well please?

fantasmasgoria1 · 05/12/2022 21:18

Nissin sesame noodles are amazing. I also like soba noodles. They are far better than supernoodles.

Yerroblemom1923 · 05/12/2022 21:20

Are supernoodles the ones in pots or the ones in a square pack that you crunch up, add a little foil sachet to and boil in saucepan??

LadyVictoriaSponge · 05/12/2022 21:22

I read your OP as where are the Supermodels? and was going to reply yes the models of today don’t compare to Cindy, Naomi, Claudia…….

NameIsBryceQuinlan · 05/12/2022 21:24

I get from the Chinese section

wannarunfromitall · 05/12/2022 21:25

Sign of the times that I think you're a snob for buying actual Supernoodles.

I like the Aldi ones and they're about 19p or something. The curry ones, with an egg chucked in towards the end so it poaches, and ideally with some homemade kimchi or some sort of fermented veggies mixed through on your plate. Lunch of kings <chef's kiss>

Rainbowshit · 05/12/2022 21:26

My DS has eaten them all. He always seems to have noodles on the go.

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 05/12/2022 21:28

Both @Yerroblemom1923

the packets were better, but now the chicken flavour tastes of nowt. I add some Essential Cuisine chicken stock powder to mine to make it taste like it used to.

still love them. Add a poached egg, grated cheddar and some thickly buttered sourdough on the side and I’m in heaven.

FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 05/12/2022 21:32

< High fives @wannarunfromitall >

supernoodles and eggs are flippin immense

i do like the Maggi noodles and hunt them in Home Bargains. They don’t put up much of a struggle.

Mañanarama · 05/12/2022 21:42

The chow mein has been renamed Chinese (I think, cba to go and check in the kitchen cupboard, but defo a new name) still purple colouring on the packaging, and still says chow mein on the foil sachet inside. There is definitely a shortage; while we managed to score 4 packets in Asda last week, there are none this week.

WingingItSince1973 · 05/12/2022 21:45

I thought it read supermodels! My glasses weren't on properly and I was just about to comment on the lack of supermodels 😂

catsonahottinroof · 05/12/2022 22:05

Have you tried the Co-op? They usually have plenty of chicken supernoodles round here.

Sidge · 05/12/2022 22:29

baxtersm · 05/12/2022 20:45

Go to Lidl and get their own brand, they're about 20p for a big packet

I may have to make a trip to the next town then to go to Lidl… maybe they’ll have noodles there too, our local Tesco doesn’t even have an alternative to Supernoodles.

Coolcreature · 05/12/2022 22:30

In the corner shops!

IamChipmunk · 05/12/2022 22:35

I can only get Aldi own chicken ones. Kids are partial to bacon flavour but not seen them for a while. No flavours in stock for tesco delivery at all.
