Postal strike-is there any point me posting parcels or should I wait?

I've got a few I want to get sent off today. Are they likely to be waiting around for ages before anyone posts them?

I'm waiting for loads of things too :(
I hope the postal workers get what they deserve but I hope it all gets resolved fast for everyone's sake!

I wish I knew which carrier companies are using. I ordered something, then realised it’s RM. Can’t track it, seller is not helpful and I’ve given up hope of its arrival.

I posted Christmas cards on 1st December. They haven’t arrived. We’ve received very few too.

I posted a parcel on Monday, special delivery for next day. It arrived on Wednesday despite the post office guy saying there were no delays on SD.

DM sent me a Christmas card 1st class 10 days ago and I haven't received it. We haven't received a single Christmas card so far. The postman hasn't been for a week and a half (except to deliver parcels).

The RM have said they will give priority to parcels and letters 0 priority (they don't make any money on letters, it's the parcels they make money on).

It's as if they are holding anything in an envelope to ransom, taking it out on the public who have no control over the pay rise they want. I wonder where they are keeping all the undelivered mail? I expect we'll get all our Christmas cards in January after the decorations have been taken down!

Special delivery, tracked items and parcels are being prioritised.

Letters are being left.

I think other couriers are struggling

Got an email to say an item was due to be delivered yesterday. It's not turned up yet.

Evri was delayed by several days.

Honestly I think it's pot luck.

I use RM for my business and generally post second class. Parcels have taken anywhere between 2-10 days to arrive during the strikes. 2-3 days is normal for second class post around here.

I've received some RM orders next day and others have taken two weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️
