1 year immunisations is 4 injections

Poor wee DS had his this morning and I was thinking it was 3 injections (which is a lot anyway) but my heart sank when the nurse told me it was 4.
I think that is a hell of a lot for anyone to go through let alone a baby!

I know Flu vaccination is a spray up the nose, I just wish some of the others were too.

There's really very little difference for a baby between 3 and 4 injections. They don't like it, they cry a bit. They get over it.

3 jabs isn't going to make them cry and less than 4.

It's not a big deal.

We delayed and split them and the gp was happy to accommodate it so we did them 1 at a time each one 2-4 weeks apart ( they said we could choose)

It's not nice but for it over and done work and at that age they forget so quickly.

Much easier to hold them down for 4 quick jabs than to hold their heads still for 4 nasal sprays. I'd far rather pin their arms and legs than try to grip their heads still
