I’m really pinning my hopes on a cow Mr T. Pls let us know

What? Gold jewellery, mohawk fro and 'I pity the fool' catchphrase but the legs of a cow?

donquixotedelamancha · 23/11/2022 00:56

I twill be the person that looks after the cows. Perfectly normal role considering Jesus was born in a stable - I'm sure there would have been cows alongside the ox and the ass.

OP is lucky that their child isn't the ass-person.

DS was a city banker one year complete with bowler hat and briefcase

Surely it's just a politically correct 'cowboy'?

Impossible... it'd have to be either be a cow Mrs T or a bull Mr T.

Haha true, but are you my 5 year old son? Correcting me on the sex of animals is his favourite pastime.

Grey23 · 23/11/2022 08:08

I'm guessing cowboy/cowgirl singing The stable hoedown?

We had aliens at the nativity one year. They arrived in a spaceship. All very weird.

This thread has given me a laugh. What were the school thinking? Please update when you know!

They could have just used the North American term "cowhand" if the child is performing essential livestock duties.

MumofSpud · 23/11/2022 11:02

DS was once cast as a rat - not just a rat but a brown rat
He was told that his costume would be brown tights and a brown polo neck jumper - provided by myself (was told not black or grey - this would have been too easy to source!)
I had to give up looking for these items and he ended up borrowing (luckily) from a TA!

How about 'herd manager'? Though I suppose that job title might be confused with that of the teacher running the show.

Coolyule · 23/11/2022 11:09

This has made me laugh so much! I think politically correct cowboy 😂
nativities can be weird. My son was once the elephant
