B. all across the globe
C. all over the globe

Worldwide

Yankydoodledandy · 15/11/2022 10:55

Have already used world and worldwide in other sentences!

Agree that globe sounds wrong. Can you reword the bits already using world?

Notjusta · 15/11/2022 10:58

I think a is fine as is.

B. I would say 'from across the globe' (i.e. don't use 'all')

C. You could say 'from all over the world'

CaptainMyCaptain · 15/11/2022 10:59

I'd say 'around' the globe. 'Across' would be OK but 'all over' doesn't sound right to me. I think it's more to do with the sound of the words than correct grammar so probably a personal choice.

Time40 · 15/11/2022 10:59

B and C are technically correct, but they sound a bit strange, so I'd say C - but the pp is right, just "worldwide" would sound better. Could the word "international" be helpful?

Dogtooth · 15/11/2022 11:00

I'd go for: We teach adults from across the globe. You don't need the all.

You could also go for 'from every region of the globe' or something like 'we teach people from anywhere on Earth'

BlackberryCat · 15/11/2022 11:00

They are all fine. 😃

ButterCrackers · 15/11/2022 11:00

Thats tricky not to repeat. I run into situations like that. Could you use Globally or all around the globe or just around the globe. From many countries could be a good one

Yankydoodledandy · 15/11/2022 11:02

oooo love globally - thanks
