If you’ve overcome depression/anxiety how did you do it ?

Nutrition - gut health plays a key part in so much.
Sleep - also critical.
Light and consistent exercise - you don't have to be a superstar, just get out the house twice a day.

And the trickiest to manage - good socialising. I've just had a weekend I only partially enjoyed - great to catch up with friends, but I actually prefer to see people in the day than do evening stuff. It felt like a waste of sleep and healthy eating to join in.

I think it's best to have a good, low key routine of socialising, that doesn't interfere with the first three on the list. Good friends will understand that. Bad friends won't.

Next year, I'm going to only come to the parts of events that I enjoy, not join in bits I don't like for the sake of it.
