Yes it was the Aldi fairy lights - somebody mentioned them on a thread yesterday and our old vintage ones from Woolworths finally gave up the ghost a couple of years ago. we've got clear lights already and we will have them on the red/gold themed tree this year. Next year we are planning on a nutcracker / vintage baubles theme so the coloured lights will be perfect. I have already tested them to make sure they work - been caught out before!
