Can't sleep tonight...anyone else?

Is anyone else having a hard time getting to sleep tonight?

I'm suffering from a recent bereavement. I've had an OKish couple of weeks (comparatively) and thought I was doing better, but tonight it's all going round my head: memories of so many fun times, regrets, dissecting past arguments, reading old messages just to remember the mundane and everyday things that made our life together and worst of all the crushing sadness. The knowledge that he's never coming back, that well never laugh together again, he'll never speak to me and I'll never hear his voice ever again.

I've got to be up early for a day of kids activities, but my brain won't shut off.

If you can't sleep, what's keeping you up?

We're away for the weekend at a lovely country hotel but got woke up by my husband having crazy dreams - at least I hope it was him and not a ghost!! He does have form for dodgy dreams. But it gave me heart palpitations so I got up and used the loo and realised I hadn't taken my make up off before bed. Very tardy. So I ended up doing that and having a wash and then tidying the room a bit and now here I am! Hopefully making myself sleepy again.... 😴

I've also got a three month old and I was having horrific anxiety too and barely functioning. Dr prescribed a low dose of sertraline and it's worked wonders! When baby is asleep I'm zonked too and touch wood no anxiety 🤞🏼🤞🏼 xx

I’m happy in life but mind often in overdrive at night.
