Seen him on his last tour and really hoping I can get a couple of tickets on Saturday 🤞🏻

Yes, I am hoping he is going to put on a few more dates!

PicsForCliques · 09/11/2022 21:23

yes me!!! And about 30 people I’ve spoken to since Sunday. Seems like the whole
world is going to try and get them 🤣

BeKindToYourMind · 09/11/2022 22:01

Haha I didn't think I'd be alone!

Have downloaded the o2 priority app tonight for the tickets going on sale tomorrow but have never used it before 🤷🏼‍♀️ hoping I can figure it out and get some.

I never really understand why people spend 100s £££ on tickets to see someone miles away that looks like a tiny dot in the distance, plus the hassle of getting the tickets in the first place, often having to factor in an overnight stay etc. I guess a lot love the social media status of "checking in" to these events. Maybe I'm getting old, but I'd much rather wait until its on Tele and I can watch comfortably on my own sofa 😃

JimmyKrankie · 09/11/2022 23:14

Oh and I do love Peter Kay for the record - glad to see he's back 🙌

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 09/11/2022 23:16

Yep me too. Was at the last tour at the o2 and had tickets for the tour that was cancelled. I agree to an extent with you @JimmyKrankie but I love the atmosphere being there live, and you never get all the material on the dvd/tv. We saw michael macintyre and mickey flanagan at the o2 and there was so much more in the show that wasnt on the dvds.

Fizbosshoes · 09/11/2022 23:19

Yes. Already have the O2 app and from what I recall was pretty straightforward to use.

Me and DH music preferences are like chalk and cheese. He'd rather gouge his eye out with a spoon than come to a coldplay concert with me, I think the people he likes sound like drunken old men at a pub! ....but we both find Peter Kay very funny, so will be nice to go somewhere together.

The tickets start at £35 so hopefully won't be extortionate and the new cross rail might speed up our journey.

FixundFoxi · 10/11/2022 00:12

Shame he 's doing so many in london but not one in his home town..makes so many jokes about the place.

What a negative post Grin

You enjoy watching it on your telly, I'll enjoy watching it live for the atmosphere and experience after a shitty couple of years when we couldn't do fuck all.

Well I have an alarm set on my phone for half 9 to make sure I'm sat waiting! 🤞🏻 there's two dates at my preferred venue and I'm not overly bothered which one I get. I'm thinking the Thursday might be easier than the Friday?

It's about 30quid a ticket and a 20min walk from my house. Cheaper and easier to get to than a big night out on the town.

BeKindToYourMind · 10/11/2022 07:35

@BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz yep the cheapest tickets start at £35 which is a bargain I think Smile I'm about 45 mins drive for the venue but have really good memories of going to his last tour, and it's so nice to have something to look forward to.

Accusing people of only doing stuff for social media is just the laziest argument, you see it all the time on wedding threads.

I love going to live music / comedy / theatre, the atmosphere is amazing

jessicama · 10/11/2022 09:40

Is anyone else struggling to get into the O2 Priority app??

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 10/11/2022 09:40

I'm in but it's not responsive. I assume it only becomes live right at 10am to stop it overflowing with traffic sat waiting

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 10/11/2022 09:40

I can't even search for any alternative events

jessicama · 10/11/2022 09:43

I've recently got a new phone, so annoyingly not even logged in - and can't get past the first page... wouldn't be surprised if the app is overwhelmed

CentralHeterochromia · 10/11/2022 09:47

Since this morning I have been logged out of the app; when I try to log back in I just get a white API screen of doom!

impossible.

Fizbosshoes · 10/11/2022 09:52

Spoke too soon. Its not working for me. O2 tickers were meant to be available at 9.30. It said waiting room open but can't get past that

BeKindToYourMind · 10/11/2022 09:52

The app isn't loading for me either 😣 so frustrating!

AverageMillennial · 10/11/2022 09:53

DH is with Three but we can’t even log into the Three+ app this morning - it’s either crashing or saying his details aren’t right Sad

CentralHeterochromia · 10/11/2022 09:54

I'm just getting 502 Bad Gateway, what a joke! Not impressed it actually logged me out - when I checked earlier this morning it was fine!
