Clue is the name Stephen

Nothing has been proved. Recorded by Dusty Springfield, written by the Pet Shop Boys. They also included it in their set on their first live tour - I saw them perform it in Birmingham at the NEC in July 1989. Stephen is Stephen Ward, a figure in the Profumo Affair and the link is the song was in the soundtrack to rhe film Scandal about said tawdry episode in British politics.

I think it's called Absolute (might not be quite right) and was by Scritti Politti (might not be spelled right)

Hi all, sorry I’ve not been on for a while, been a busy time.
FIL unfortunately passed away, I retired (aka got p**d off working for the NHS), then we got a dog.
I hope you’ve all had a good start to the New Year xxxx

Thank you @CoffeeBeansGalore. FIL had cancer, diagnosed just over a year beforehand. We miss him massively but glad he is out of pain, RIP Tony.
Loving retirement, not looked back, especially now with our dog, Sally. she is our world 🥰.

Thank you @shinynewapple22, retirement definitely is a big life change, looking forward to the better weather but for now enjoying time with dh and the dog.
She is our world.
