Awful Psychic Reading

Has anyone ever had a really good psychic reading where predictions have come true?

I've just wasted £30 on a phone reading. The reader got quite a few things wrong and was patronising. She said I need to work on self love. I've recently never felt so good about myself and confident.

The reader was supposed to be a medium and I was hoping for a message from a Grandparent.

I know you are trying to message me but I don't seem to have an inbox. Please don't think I'm ignoring you!

Mediumship is real, & please don't bother arguing because I'm not going to come back & read replies. I don't slag anyone else off for their beliefs & if you do that to me, it shows just how closed-minded you are. If you genuinely want a reading, ask around & get names of mediums who your contacts know & trust. Failing that, contact your local spiritualist church, people there will help you with trustworthy readers.
There are also Mind Body Spirit events regularly, with reputable readers.

I hope those of you who want readings are very happy with them, it's wonderful to be told accurate info, especially if you have lost someone close to you.

I don't know why posters here make a big song & dance about it all being fake. Maybe scared? Maybe don't believe in Jesus either? I don't know..

It's because a lot of people are being scammed and taken advantage of when they are at their most vulnerable. It's not just a few pounds here or there, sometimes it's thousands.

Even if,and that's a big if, there are genuine psychics out there, the vast majority of them are just con artists. Encouraging people to blindly believe in them just compounds the problem.

My friend saw a psychic who told her she would have two children close together, conceiving the first a few months after her wedding. She's been married for years now and they need IVF. It seems so cruel that she genuinely believed that woman, and paid her to be told such a hurtful lie.

Regardless of your opinion of DB, and to be honest I am not a fan (but due to things that have nothing to do with his ‘abilities’/or lack of), this video should explain how easy it to seem as you are giving information that you can’t possibly know.

I’m really late to this thread but came across it after searching ‘psychic’ in the search bar, so the thread will be bumped, there’s some interesting responses on here.

I personally believe that some people have an ability after a few experiences over the past 20+ years which amazed me (one woman in particular who told me I would be pregnant the next year to my ex, named him, told me other personal info that age could never have guessed). I’ve seen some awful ones and been given my money back on occasions.

currently going thru a marital separation so obviously I’m a prime candidate for psychics. Recently saw a tarot reader who was spot on (she doesn’t advertise, she charges a reasonable £25 for 2 hours, was put onto her by a work colleague who she’d been accurate for). She assured me my H would come back, and still loved me. Went back yesterday, and shuffled the cards myself - exact same cards came out as the last time. She’s still saying he’ll come back but that I need to let him go to come back. She said other things too - I’m currently seeing a therapist who visited me today she basically repeated what the psychic said to me.

So… please don’t mock me or those who also believe (it’s no different to mocking a religion to me, which I’d never do) - just wondering whether anyone has any successful tales from psychics re. reconciliation etc?

@PotsnPan - I agree that there are some good psychics and mediums out there but they seem to be few and far between.

I've never had any accurate predictions of reconciliation and in hindsight I can say thank fuck for that

Years ago I was broken hearted after being dumped and had lots of readings all predicting that the idiot would come back to me. One said there was a lady around him and she was right but I didn't believe that he'd moved on so quickly. Of course he had and he may have even cheated on me.

I'd never criticise anyone for seeking the advice of a medium or psychic. It can be uplifting and I think there must be something in it as I've seen a couple of good ones.

Just be careful because when you are low you can end up spending loads of money being told a lot of rubbish. You feel better for a short time but it doesn't last.

Thanks @ilovechocolatecakeicing - I’ve seen some proper cranks over the years but then seen some who couldn’t possibly have known what they’ve told me. I’m supposing that I’m looking for any harbour in this storm that I’ve found myself in

I had one last week for £45. It was terrible. In person. I could have spent the money so much more wisely and I’m cross with myself.
