Our kids have grown up and left home but when it was a scorching hot day he went out and bought a paddling pool for ME!

He helps me poo pick the horses field on a weekend.

He feeds my guinea-pigs if he is home first.

He does the weekly food shop on a Saturday morning while I go mess/ride the horses and always gets me something nice for lunch because he knows I will be starving when I get home.

He works bloody hard all week and cooks on a Saturday night, a Monday night and a Thursday night because I have been at uni/busy at the stables.

He always makes sure the fridge has beer and wine in for me.

He's annoying as fuck in so many other ways but good in so many others.
