I'll start. I'd do medicine and become a coroner

Historian. I made a conscious decision not to do History at Uni because I thought it would be difficult to find a job. I still think that was probably the right thing to do in a financial sense but wish I'd done the degree anyway.

I'm am accountant and it's being very glamorised on this thread!

I'd go back and be an astrophysicist.

I'm an engineer I used to work in the oil & gas industry and went on oil rig. Then I went and got my MBA now am working for a fintech company.

if I can go back in time to chose again I would chose to go to Law school, and be a lawyer.

HaveYou · 27/10/2022 07:34

I'd also go engineer or I wish I had joined the RN in medics.

OdkinsBodkins · 27/10/2022 08:12

I'd train in Musical Theatre and after doing that until my early 30s if possible then I'd retrain in medicine. I'd also learn to play the violin in my teens.

Mine would be surgeon or skilled cabinet maker (I'm good at woodwork on an amateur level)

Pinkmagic1 · 27/10/2022 08:18

A vet, preferably an equine one. It was always my dream and I wish I had studied harder and made it a reality.

CrazySchoolTimes · 27/10/2022 08:24

Pharmacist. When I scroll the job ads there are always loads for part time pharmacists. I'm basically unemployable as I'm over qualified for part time work without responsibilities but could only work part time as my child has SN.

Forensic scientist

I was a trainee lawyer at the time of This Life and I did have that life for a bit! (Although minus the drugs). It was fun 😁but not sustainable over the long term

Librarian. Didn't do it as I was too self-conscious of the stereotype of dull, boring librarians, but have always regretted it.

Ha! Same. Or a pathologist.

bluetongue · 27/10/2022 09:25

Something Police related. Detective or forensics perhaps.

My current job deals with the Police and I find it fascinating.

A musician, I imagine playing my violin at the Royal Albert Hall
