Do you think you'll get a holiday next year?

DH and I have had a lot going on the past number of years and were due to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary back in 2018 but had to cancel due to a major issue (not going into details) we always said we'd make up for it for our 15th which just happens to be next year but now with the costs of everything i very much doubt we will be able to afford a summer holiday next year either.

Are you booking a holiday or waiting to see what happens

Yes we've got a week in Rhodes with ds and three nights in Budapest just DH and I. Both already paid for, our jobs are stable.

Yes we’ll probably have a couple, one UK and one abroad, but will book what we fancy nearer the time.

We’ll definitely have a holiday next year, as we do every year. But our holidays are usually not very extravagant. We often go camping a few weekends, maybe a UK break for a week or so self-catering, which usually costs us about £700-900 plus food (which we’d buy at home anyway) and a couple days out.

We've done the maths and we can manage a 2 week holiday in France. So far we've booked the accommodation but it's "free cancellations" until the month before we go, so we can cancel if something changes with

I certainly will. If I haven't worked myself into the ground by then. I've taken on extra jobs to save for one because I can't afford one on my regular salary. I could have done before everything went tits up. Luckily my youngest finishes school for good so we can go either early July or early September before university.

No, haven’t booked anything to free up funds for energy bills if needed, I’d rather the family were warm all winter than have a week abroad next summer. We’re doing a medium sized festival next year which will be our big holiday and I might book a camping trip for next summer if we’re in a position at the beginning of the year.

Yes I have booked a cruise, super excited

Booked Center Parcs abroad....rescheduled from Covid! Unsure about our budget for main holiday though so hanging fire.

We're going away for 10 nights in February as I retired and we both had big birthdays. Not been abroad for 3 years and first all inclusive so hope it's ok.
