I'm expecting a call back from the GP at 2.30pm

I have a " to be signed for" parcel out for delivery to me today via Yodel. The driver has 136 drops to make ....he is 3 stops away from me now. He's going to arrive just as the doctor phones isn't he?

....make that 2 stops away.

Why, out of 136 drops, does he have to be here in 5 mins ?!

Bit annoying but can you not just sign for the parcel while you’re on the phone? Doesn’t seem like a big deal

No, I never said it was big deal, just a Sod's Law moment. Maybe I should have put a disclaimer in the title that it's just light-hearted.

Re: sign whilst on phone - the signal is poor so I daren't move from back of house.

Anyway, neither has happened yet .....just waiting

After a busy day I've had a free couple of hours where no one needed me , I sit down with a brew to watch tv and my daughter calls for a chat . Typical lol 😂

I came on here to say exactly this! Sun was blinding me this morning when I was hanging it out 😳 It then absolutely pissed down, thunder, the lot! 😡 Washing is now drying in the tumble dryer that I am trying not to use! 😫😡

Had a Covid booster booked online for today. Got to the place really early, didn't think they'd let me in at that time so wandered around the streets for a while, went in shops and out again. Finally get there, "oh just go straight through". I didn't need an appointment after all, even though they said appointments only when I checked.

Same with the weather but in reverse - was bucketing down when I left the house so I have a huge coat and umbrella. It’s now clear blue sky and I will have to carry my damp coat on the train.

I was on hold to my GP surgery for 50 minutes to try and get an appointment. They picked up literally the second DDs friend's mum pulled up to collect her.

The day of my flu jab appointment I start with a cold and fever so have to postpone it. Typical!
