I tried folding once but it seemed very slidey.

I wrap! I wrap it around my hand several times then wipe.

Scrunch. My bastard ex once tried to 'teach' me to fold instead so every now and then I remember and do an extra big scrunch

Folding for a wee just leaves you with a pissy hand though? Unless you use about 7 sheets, I'm not a millionaire!

In the interest of science I have just tried both. I'm a natural folder. One loop around the hand, slip off and wipe the neatly folded piece along (5sheets). The same amount scrunched creates a tiny ball- no where near enough to fully attend to a lady post wee. So scrunching would double my use and half my comfort (a smooth folded wipe is soft and comfortable- a scrunched ball loses its soft nature)

Yes this, I just can’t picture how you wouldn’t get a wet hand when folding. Intrigued about folding technique now!

I fold - I literally cannot understand the physics behind scrunching! DD16 creates a MASSIVE boxing glove of bog roll. I should have shares in Andrex fs.

I’m 52 and it’s never occurred to me to fold in all these years.I didn’t even know it was a thing. Wouldn’t it all soak through?
