Fold for poo, sometimes either for wee. I have a nearly 2 year old so in an ideal world I’d fold but sometimes there just isn’t time

This really made me laugh as there are diagrams and everything.

A scrunched piece of paper is thicker than a folded piece of paper. Stands to reason you should scrunch. Folding makes the paper too thin and your fingers go through it!
