Why do so many women not like their men aka partners to watch porn ?

I am single atm but I am reading comments on here and so many seem horrified that their men might watch porn, even wank to it or maybe do cam to cam . Now I don’t think any of that is cheating porn is porn. So do you think that there seems to be quite a few women on MN that dont agree with it?

Because it IS cheating
Because it leads to females being viewed as objects
Because is dehumanizing, degrading and disgusting
Because it is what has spawned this whole spy cam crap that every woman has to be wary of every time she visits a public toilet or hotel room
Because it makes the world a worse place to be a woman or child
Because it leads to more and more extreme porn
Because it hurts women and children, both in the filming of it, and the after effects on society
Because it destroys relationships
Because it actually rewires your brain

What more reasons could you possibly want for seeing it as a dealbreaker?

Really this has nothing to do with it I still don’t have a problem with guys watching porn as well they do and maybe there are a select few that don’t or prob say they don’t but I don’t believe that

if you keep your bar so low then why stop at porn, why not be okay with ‘actual’ cheating then. Clearly either way they would rather get their kicks elsewhere and you’re ok with it so why let it stop there.

Because cheating and porn is very different. Cheating is with an actual person and porn isn’t real it’s more like theatre

No actually I am interested as for me as a woman I don’t have an issue with it so I can maybe get the feminist angle on it but I still feel men do it even if they say not

Yeah I have watched porn even watched it with some ex partners and no they won’t do stuff to me that I won’t like because I have a voice to say what I like.. I don’t have a big issue with porn

I don't like porn in any form, because I think it's exploitative. Also it can lead to people having unrealistic expectations of their real life partners or assessing their own appearance or performance against a fantasy that's unachievable in the real world.

It’s also not about appearing cool either and I do think some are prudes that’s my opinion. I think porn is a normal part of many mens life even if they say they don’t watch it

I just think porn is sleezy at best, more often utterly grim and I'd think a bit less of them for watching it.
