Super soft pyjamas for adults?

My pyjamas this year I’ve noticed are that over washed crispy thing. I’ve got one which was really thin but lovely and soft like a thermal under layer. So not fleecy etc.
i need to get new ones, maybe bamboo or something f like that that has some stretch and give and soft and no big seems etc? Also would need a size 20-22 which doesn’t help.
Really don’t know where to find such loveliness. Live super rural so all online so can’t go and feel up a load of things in various supermarkets/shops etc

I’ve just bought some really soft Chelsea Peers pyjamas on sale from asos. They’re mainly polyester so I’m not sure how hot they’ll get but they have them in plus sizes and there’s usually some sort of additional discount code/offer on asos so might be worth a try.

Mil always buys me joules pyjamas for Christmas, very soft

Asda have really nice soft sets in at the moment.

I’ve got some from sainsburys that are lovely and soft thin jersey type fabric. They were sold as separate tops and bottoms. I find them a bit warm to sleep in unless it’s really cold so tend to wear them more as lounge wear.

I’ve got lots of lovely soft pairs from Sainsbury’s

RockinRosie · 21/10/2022 11:26

I just got a lovely soft pair from Primark. They’re not cotton but are really warm and comfortable.

I've bought these for a friend for her birthday and oh my they feel sooooo soft! So I'm sure there are more styles on Matalan!

I was in Uniqlo yesterday and they have some lovely soft pyjamas (in fact all their clothes this season seem to be soft).

KangarooKenny · 21/10/2022 11:41

Primark. They’ve got some lovely soft ones.

KangarooKenny · 21/10/2022 11:41

Saw some soft ones In Sainsburys too

MuddlingThrough1724 · 21/10/2022 12:41

Definitely Chelsea Peers! They are so soft, and stay that way despite been worn and (not very carefully) washed weekly! The foil prints do fade, but not the normal ones. They arent a think fabric at all, but are soft and cozy and I find them perfect to keep you warm but not at all sweaty. Definitely worth keeping an eye out for their sales/cashback etc, but so much nicer than any other option (what is with the cheap and nasty slinky fleece everywhere at the moment? Asking to stink to high heaven if you ask me!).

MuddlingThrough1724 · 21/10/2022 12:41

...and they have a curve range, would suggest sizing down one size as they are v generous in my experience.

CushionsandThrows · 21/10/2022 13:38

@MuddlingThrough1724 Would you size down for all Chelsea Peers or just the curve range? I'm a size 10-12 and tallish, but don't know whether to go for S or M. I like the "traditional" style PJs with the button-down top. Although the ones with cuffed legs look nice too!

Sparklywolf · 21/10/2022 13:46

They're expensive but I have family who rave about Popsy pj's, even come with pockets!

MuddlingThrough1724 · 21/10/2022 13:57

I'd definitely size down on curve. For usual range, I'd probably say size down too - I'd say I'm a 12/14 top and 14 on the bottom and the medium fit fine, large are roomy, and an old pair of xls I have from when weight loss was in progress are hilariously big, and only held up because they thankfully come with a helpful drawstring waist! This is for the Jersey fabric styles though, I haven't any of their traditional button up styles.

CushionsandThrows · 21/10/2022 13:57

@MuddlingThrough1724 Fab, thanks!

ShirleyHolmes · 21/10/2022 14:05

Cyberjammies. Expensive but they have a sale on atm.

expandabandband · 21/10/2022 14:12

Uniqlo seconded, but I also had a pair from John Lewis - just their basics range - which were so soft and lovely that I bought a second one!

I'm clearly not alone in this because they've added more colours...
