Not berating those who don’t do it in hard mode - but doing it in hard mode makes it a different game to none hard work if that makes sense? E.g. I notice people using elimination words (I don’t know any of those) but in hard mode as you’ve got to use ‘guessed’ letters you can’t do that unless the work has a guessed letter in it. Anyway one of those!

DH and I both got it in 3 today with same starter word which we change daily. We have as much entertainment choosing the word as doing Wordle!

Has anyone studied this?

@NoNameNowAgain I use variations of those letters, fairly good stats

I haven't got it set to hard mode but I always try to keep to guessed letters as it feels like wasting a line otherwise.

Aaagh I had good 1st and 2nd words but then too many options! I stopped using elimination words a while ago so it definitely got a bit frustrating today, but glad to hold onto my streak!

I love the flexibility of how you can play wordle.
I've chosen not to use elimination words recently and like that I have that choice.
I will definitely use them again though. I like the different challenge of finding a word that uses as many of my outstanding potential letters as possible.
At times I've used 2 starter words as well.
I know that some people play using the previous solution as their starter words etc.
So many options to a simple pleasure 😁

Wasn't expecting to get a 4.

I didn't even know there was a hard mode. To me, choosing elimination words makes sense, especially when you have a word which shares common letters with many others.

Never played before today and got my green and golds the wrong way round -idiot. Thought I had it in 4 but no and it was a 5. Quite happy with that considering I wasted a line.
