It’s when you get onto the TTC boards and get muddled about BD and DTD at CD17 because of EWCM and BBT and a peak OPK which might be 2DPO which means you’re enduring the TWW before POAS just because you like to find out if it’s a BFP or BFN. Not seen much on MN but have also seen NTNT.

TTC trying to conceive
BD baby dance (aka sex)
DTD did/do the deed
CD# cycle day #
EWCM egg white cervical mucus
BBT base basal temperature
OPK ovulation predictor kit
#DPO # days post ovulation
TWW two week wait
POAS pee on a stick

I wish I'd been the one to make that phrase up! It's been used here for years and years. (Although a lot of people use a shorter version now, I'm a purist and like the original)

Far from being made up on the fly, I think this is the essence of MN and an extraordinarily useful piece of world / life advice. Wish someone had pointed it out to me (with examples, like in MN) when I was a teenager
