Whats your morning routine?

Basically that. Is there any habits you introduced to your day, that you feel made a significant difference to your mood/productivity?

Desperate to get myself into a really good morning routine but finding it hard to discipline myself to not turn off the alarm 🙈

@itsgettingweird you're up at 4!

Christ you deserve a medal!

Up at 5.30. Drink hot water with lemon, then throw on some leggings and go for a jog - usually like to aim for 5k on a good day. Back home, get kids up for breakfast (laid out the night before) then dressed/makeup while husband watches kids before he's off to the city for work. Grab a quick bite to eat and then it's all in the 4 by 4 for the arduous journey to 3 different schools. Then straight to work for 9!

Not really. But it felt good pretending for a minute 😆

@Shannith thank you, that's really good to know! Hopefully I'll be able to continue and will feel the same. I'm 38 so I feel like I'm still plenty young enough to become reasonably flexible, if I'm consistent.

Up at 5am, drive DD to work. Back home and water garden, feed kitty. Cuppa and put washing on, make the bed. Breakfast. Hang out the washing. If doing a second load, put it on. Feed dog. Walk dog. Shower.

Absolutely in awe of people who get up at 5am to exercise. I genuinely cannot do it. Do you all go to bed very early?

Me too! Waking up after less than 8 hours sleep makes me feel genuinely ill - sick and dizzy. I’ve always been incredibly jealous of morning people.
