entire decor schemes for rooms: paint, carpet, lamps, cushions, curtains. I wish you could just look at a room and choose it.

I have two rooms and a hall I need to do and I hate it. I want it to look nice but find searching and wondering and deciding takes so much time and I don't enjoy it. I wish I could point or look at a nice room and say, 'I'll have that one, please.'

What shop do you wish there was?

A shop that sold elegant shoes in wider fittings. I don't want frumpy boots and fugly sandals - I want heels and pretty shoes that can be worn with dresses for parties etc,

I wish there was a shop that designed everything for petite people. I know some stores have a petite range but there's usually only a certain selection. I want everything - trousers, dresses, coats, tops, vest tops, bags with shorter straps etc.

I am so with you. My shoes also need to tie up and have a firm back and a wedge heel. There's about two reasonably stylish things under a hundred pounds that fit the criteria.

The holy grail of shopping is Japan. They have shops for not only everything you can think of but everything you never knew you needed! My peak moment was seeing a Crouton shop. Yep they literally only sold croutons! All different colours, sizes, shapes. I had so many questions, do the Japanese love croutons that much? How does a shop only selling croutons stay in business? Who says “oh I absolutely must have some large purple croutons for my salad?

It sounds wondrous but also quite an overload!

Laura Ashley do everything. They don't have little rooms set out but I have found their sales assistants most helpful in upselling picking out coordinating things.

Havn't they been acquired by Next now?

I wish you could buy adult clothes in ready-assembled outfits like toddlers, where you get, for example, matching dress, tights and cardigan all on one hanger.

Kakinkankakoo · 08/10/2022 18:44

I wish there was a shop for things with patterns. Plain dresses, jackets, shoes etc just in one colour. The amount of times I've wanted a plain black dress or plain jacket and couldn't find it.

Kakinkankakoo · 08/10/2022 18:46

Without patterns!!

NumberTheory · 08/10/2022 18:51

I’d like a shop where you could buy a good night’s sleep.

...instant weight loss, self esteem and an ability to break dance! (Why not?!)

Half sizes in clothes
Reasonably priced, good quality, token gifts for primary aged children's birthday parties.

Thanks. I've found the written advice on that website quite helpful.

Some great ideas here.

I'd also like a shop that sells personal attributes. I have a quiet voice. I can hold a tune but I'd love a clear strong singing voice. Obviously without going to the effort of developing it.

A shop for a good night's sleep would be mobbed.

Kettlewell Colours

Various marriage aids, and self love equipment, but various shapes, sizes, styles, e.g. Banana, cucumber ect, all kinds of unusual designs, at a reasonable price,

As the company bad Dragon aids, are quite pricy, same with Ann summer with different equipment.
