I just love a ring thread!
My DP and I got married last month, and I'm waiting for my wedding ring to come back from the jewellers as it was a little too big.

Whilst I'm waiting (and missing it!!) I'd love to see yours!

I'm a nurse so never wear my eternity or engagement rings anymore. But I love my wedding ring.

These are mine, although not my original set.

Still love mine as they are very simple but I do love the vintage look too.

My wedding ring is from the notoriously crap Ratners, lol...but I love it 😉 My (replacement after the original antique one began hemorrhaging stones) engagement ring I chose myself - it's an 8 carat emerald flanked by diamonds (total 1.25 carsts) which we could never afford these days!

Some gorgeous rings. As a jeweller I feel that I should point out that some of these rings really need a clean!
To make your diamonds sparkle use hot water, a splash of washing up liquid and a soft toothbrush. You will not believe the difference if you clean out the gunk behind the gemstones.
Also, not many people do, but everyone should pop their rings in for a clean and service once a year or so. Should only cost around £25 and it will ensure that you don't lose any gemstones.
Also, please check your insurance. The cost to replace your rings will have gone up hugely over the past few years. Make sure that you have enough cover.

That is gorgeous, I could only dream of a ring like that! I don’t wear my ring Because I don’t like it. I would never have picked it if I’d been given a choice I’d love something like yours.

Plain and simple here- diamond solitaire and platinum and 18ct gold band.

Mine is very plain compared to most here, but it’s what I like. There was supposed to be an aquamarine eternity ring underneath bit it wasn’t to be. I still love my rings, though. (It’s not an enormous rock. I have really small hands!)

@Thingsthatgo that is very helpful. My ring was valued and insured 10 years ago, maybe I need to have it revalued? Also I would love to have mine cleaned (emerald with diamonds) but I don’t like to give it to the local jewellers as I worry they could replace it with a fake while being cleaned. My limited experience of jewellers is they send things away to be adjusted etc. rather than do it there and then. I am not very trusting, don’t mean to tarnish the jewellery industrys’ reputation 🤣.Any advice?

That is so beautiful and I think eternity ring is lovely.

My Grandma’s wedding ring (approx 100 years old) which was given to me and engagement ring bought late for our 25th wedding anniversary. Pleased to find it in a local jewellery shop and the gold tone matched!
