I used to cycle through rice fields, get a rickety old tram, then walk through a bonsai nursery. Took 40 minutes. japan.

current commute is a 30 minute walk along a seafront….lovely in the summer. Bit challenging in a gale.

Taking the Thames Clipper (boat) from Greenwich to my office on Embankment.

Never got tired of floating under Tower Bridge (and they sold alcohol for the journey home which I did participate in on occasion!)

No longer live in London though. It was light years ago when I was in my late twenties.

My current ‘commute’ is an hour’s walk over a bridge, through a field and along a beautiful river. I need it before and after a very stressful day’s work. It is the best thing about my day. It keeps me working there.

My commute got infinitely better when I got an e-bike with giant panniers that can fit anything (gym gear, laptop, kids school bags...)

Currently I ride along the sea front and at the moment there are whales breaching and spouting in the lagoon. And it smells like frangipani.

I'm very jealous of my sisters commute. Penrith to Patterdake. It's beautiful. Better than mine!

A walk next to a loch and palace, i would leave early to sit by the loch and enjoy the view.
The other one was passing edinburgh castle on the train, i hated the job though and only stuck it a year!

Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia is really beautiful, have walked through many times!

I used to live in West Philadelphia and would walk through a neighborhood with charming old houses and through the University of Pennsylvania campus to get to my office. Took about 30 minutes.

Drove along Beach Road in Melbourne to and from work, 25 minutes; always lifted the spirits.

Now I'm retired I can do it without the work bit Grin
