DD has worms, what can I put on her bum to stop it being so itchy at night

I have done the treatment today, but so worried about her scratching it at night and spreading the eggs.

Is there any creams that will take the itch away?

apparently Vaseline suffocates them and stops them coming out 😳 we used it for dd (along with ovex) and it did help. You need to apply quite a thick layer.

Thick layer of either vaseline or sudocrem..

That's what I did anyway.

Bath with salt before bed, I seem to think we used sudacrem, but most importantly an antihistamine that has sleepy side affects. Good for the itching and having a good nights sleep. Once she’s had the tablet it shouldn’t be long before she feels better.
