WARNING - Screen with envy in administration

So it seems like screen with envy has gone bust, there are members of staff claiming that they haven’t been paid for the previous month and have been let go (hence phones are no longer being answered).

However the website is still willing to take our money and “order” products. So just a heads up to anyone thinking of parting with their money as trust pilot seems to confirm it’s unlikely anyone is getting their orders!

I'm just popping on to say that I had placed an order with Screen with Envy back in August - obviously I never received my goods. However, after reading this thread and looking online I placed a chargeback on my bank account on Monday (I paid with my debit card) - very straightforward to do - and I received my funds back today! Incredible. I am with Santander so perhaps that had something to do with it.

I used Santander to do it, worked quite quickly.

After multiple emails, calls and web chats, the date kept getting later. When the emails stopped being answered, I also put a chargeback on my account. It was credited straight away but Barclays have since contacted me to tell me they tried to take the money again last week! I'll be contacting Barclays to tell them they are in administration.

Wow! That makes it seem as though they’re wilfully ripping people off.

If you need to get any similar screens Charles & Ivy have pretty much the same stuff
I’ve bought from SWE and luckily didn’t get ripped off
but I got the rest of my screens and planters from C&I and can’t fault them

They also have a warehouse I think in Manchester where you can purchase screens

Hi everyone,

I worked for this company for 6 months in what was their primary absolute shambles and complete scam. Didnt pay my tax and sacked me randomly no warning nothing on a day were I had made a 10k sale.

The woman is literally a pretenscious alcoholic. She would bitch about everyone and thing. Oh and her husband the poor guy was just there to listen to bully him
and command orders from her.

literally was an awful place to work. Just be warned they now have a new company called TSDES STORES LTD

She claimed she designed all the stuff they sold absolute shit that was stole designs from Charles and Ivy.

I apologies for the experience you will have had because I know it would never have been a good one.

If you visit Trustpilot, they are disassociating themselves from all the previous poor reviews by trying to claim they are a new company with no access to the records from their previous disgusting behaviour..... yet on social media, they are advertising sale prices for being in business for 6 years

I wish someone could shut them down for once and for all, they are criminals

I’m so stunned anyone buys from them, their reputation is all over the internet and there are some great suppliers out there, I used Charles and ivy,

don’t folks do internet searches before rhey buy from a new company? It takes two mins to google their reviews.

They’ve done the Phoenix thing haven’t they. Changed directors and restarted exactly the same business, but with no comeback for anyone who lost money to the last one.
im surprised nobody is commenting on their Facebook ads tbh.

They delete messages on there. All of mine were removed quickly.

They have phoenixed once before and I dare say they'll do it again and again.
