Alcohol or any glasses you'd put alcohol in, we don't drink and rarely have visitors. Last year we did happen to have a visitor, who asked for a drink - early in the day too and was shocked when I didn't have anything.

Ketchup- I do buy it for guests if we’re likely to have something they may want it with but we as a family prefer other condiments.

baked beans - I like beans, I like tomato based sauces but baked beans taste all wrong so I just don’t buy them

in laws never have garlic, onions, eggs, a basic stock of herbs and spices, salt, pepper or any condiments. I struggle to understand what they actually cook without the basics but they just seem to prefer to eat very plainly.
