I'm desperate to lose a stone

to start off with. I'm squeezing myself into clothes and am starting to feel uncomfortable!
I don't want to buy new bigger clothes. I don't even look great at the size my clothes are anyway and actually need to be two sizes below. A stone and a half would get me into the size below.
But I just can't do it!!!
I feel so stupid.
I know low carb works but I don't want to do that. I've done it before and all the weight came back on as I can't maintain a low carb lifestyle.
What else can work quickly?

@PeloFondo exactly how I feel with fasting. I wish I had known about it when I was younger

The only thing I find hard is how little food I need to lose weight. Eating one meal and a small snack with hard exercise 5 days a week and I lose 1lb a week despite being 4 stone overweight Confused

Just fkn eat less. Seriously . That’s it.

Nothing sustainable will work that quickly. Eat less, move a lot more and accept it will probably take a few months (and permanent changes if you want to keep it off)

But eat a LOT less. No carbs. No booze.

Working quickly is never the right way to keep it off.

I used the Noom app to lose over a stone at 1lb a week. I've kept it off and not gone back to my old habits (except just before my period and I go with it. As soon as I feel better I'm back on the good habits). My weight fluctuates around 3lbs over the course of the month and I don't find it hard for the other 28 days to make healthy choices and enjoy life. Today I had a KFC so tomorrow I will have soup for lunch. I Ying and Yang across the week with salads, soups, eggs royale, sandwiches, sushi depending on what I fancy. Friday was chicken noodle soup because I was feeling a bit coldy.

I still use the Noom app to check new foods to add to my repertoire (obviously didn't need to check the KFC!) but now I know what a healthy portion size is I choose that. I eat until I'm full and then stop. It's been brilliant to make me feel better and look better. I just don't feel I need that weight anymore. I can't go back to that weight because I can't imagine eating enough to get there. I went on an all inclusive holiday and only put on 2lbs. I ate what I wanted when I wanted but listened to my body and stopped when I was full. Drank every night except the last night (body didn't feel like it). Had ice cream every day. Did some activity but never enough to get a sweat on. Am really happy with my future health outlook.
