How come these two were never photographed together?

From what I gather they were rivals of a sort?

A quick Google brings up a few tabloid stories:
Diana and Fergie resented Sophie and the easy ride she was getting compared to them. Diana didn't like that Sophie was a commoner, and called her Miss Goody Two Shoes. She also was very critical of Sophie's fashion choices.

How true any of this is, though, is anyone's guess.

Its probably all bollocks. For some reason two women can never be friends or even just get along fine in the eyes of the media. We're always rivals.

Was Diana wearing black to that wedding? That's almost as bad around these parts as wearing white isn't it?
