Me, helped highly anxious son with some flash cards for his upcoming French exam. Not much, but I feel better for helping him keep calm.

You?

Come brag to me! Come tell me your (seemingly small) life wins ! 😃

Made some brilliant gravy.

I love it when that happens!

Ordered some shoes for an 86 year old with terribly swollen feet
She really really doesn't like me and the feeling is mutual but I can't bear the thought of her not having a decent pair of shoes as no one else seems to be bothered
I'll do a 180 mile round trip to take them to her on Thursday, make sure they fit, have a quick cuppa, talk about the Queen and then leave, knowing for a fact that I'll never see her again

Survived (and yes as far as today goes that is an achievement!)

Took the batch of bramble jelly that I made yesterday and was still liquid, poured it all back in the saucepan, boiled it for another 11 mins, with a jam thermometer to check the temp, then sealed it into clean jars.

And it's set 🎉 🤗

I made up for getting a group of women totally lost when trying to find the meet-up pub before the Standing for Women event at Brighton today by successfully leading a different group of women to a different pub for the post event drinks.

You're a bloody brilliant lot you are 😃

Encouraged my 7yo to take on her older brothers chores as he's not here this weekend to do them (he's holidaying with his friend). I ended up doing most of them but to just get her engaged and excited about taking part...the house is spotless. We spent time doing something together.
