Yorkshire Dales, especially Wensleydale. Beautiful walks, cosy pubs, amazing scenery, lakes waterfalls, genuinely peaceful and not spoilt by tourism.

We love the Yorkshire dales too.

But, Northern Ireland. The giants causeway was why we went, and I'd recommend it, but we just loved it there. We stayed in port Stewart.

Scottish borders. We stayed in a cottage on an estate called The Yair near Galashiels. It was utterly glorious.
