I've been finding this mesmerising so thought I'd create a dedicated thread.
Saw Justin Trudeau and his wife pass through earlier.

you can wind back, so far it says to 11.44 but also on youtube apparently

Thanks, I wanted 7.30am but I can't find how to go back that far. Oh well its not a big deal, it was a good experience.

Zosime · 18/09/2022 19:58

European royalty, I'd guess.

Q end is at London Bridge, current Qing time approx 7 hours.

I reckomg they'll close it by about 10.00, so they don't have a lot of people rolling up after the pubs close.

I was in the queue earlier, does anyone know how to watch the live stream from a particular time, I would quite like to see it?

You should find it on iplayer.

MaggieFS · 18/09/2022 20:00

I've just put it on! Helloooooo! I assume there won't be any more famous bods as they're all off to the reception?

DysonSphere · 18/09/2022 20:00

CaptainBarbosa · 18/09/2022 19:36

I really do believe I have some sort of mild addiction to the live stream 😳 what am I going to do on Tuesday evening after all this?! 😂

I know, I've had it on since I woke up this morning. And nearly all day yesterday and large chunks of time the other days.

It's a sign of madness. Literally the men in white coats could get me to calm down and get into the van with barred windows simply by streaming it on a mobile device and slowly walking backwards at this stage. I'd follow. It's so soothing.

MaggieFS · 18/09/2022 20:03

Why have they all stopped when there's no sign of a change of the guard?

And a dog! Someone is carrying a small dog!!

TattiePants · 18/09/2022 20:04

I wasn’t watching but there was a 1 minute silence at 8 so perhaps for that.

toomuchlaundry · 18/09/2022 20:04

Minute silence I assume

ScoobyDoNot · 18/09/2022 20:04

Minutes silence.
It must have a slight delay.

Whylurkwhenicanjoinin · 18/09/2022 20:04

Two minutes silence Maggie

MrsLargeEmbodied · 18/09/2022 20:04

someone has a dog!

MaggieFS · 18/09/2022 20:05

Ah. Didn't realise there was a silence. Poor timing from me. Apologies.

Its because our brains are obsessed with The Queue! I almost forgot too!

MrsLargeEmbodied · 18/09/2022 20:08

Jellykat · 18/09/2022 20:09

I'm still wondering how long the polices shifts are, yet to see a changeover for them..

TattiePants · 18/09/2022 20:13

Is anyone tempted to set the alarm for 6 in the morning to watch the last half hour? Asking for a friend 😉

Hatchibombatar · 18/09/2022 20:15

Anyone know if the full livestream is going to be put up anywhere? Presumably it’s been recorded for posterity? I queued up for accessibility tickets on Friday with a ninety year old chap. At that point tickets were being given out for either 2am or 8am on Saturday morning.

I decided to go home when I finally got my ticket at 2pm and come back at 8am on Saturday as I live in London, but he got a ticket for 2am as he’d come in from surrey. I feel really guilty as he’d lost his walking stick and was struggling (though I’m also disabled so was struggling too after 2 hours queueing). We’d struck up conversation as we were both alone in the ticket queue and I can’t stop thinking about him and whether he was ok waiting all that time in the cold to join the main queue without his stick. If I could see him on the livestream I’d at least know he got to Westminster hall. I don’t even know his name!

MrsLargeEmbodied · 18/09/2022 20:18

dh just heard 5.30! am
that might be too much!

mischieviousspelling · 18/09/2022 20:19

I saw a police changeover today! There was no ceremony at all, the new policeman just slipped in between the people.

Jellykat · 18/09/2022 20:19

Crapbucket has asked the same Hatchibombatar, someone said possibly IPlayer?

TattiePants · 18/09/2022 20:20

@MrsLargeEmbodied DH would think I’d completely lost it if I told him. He’s been banished to the spare bed this week as I can’t wear ear plugs as I’ve had an ear infection. My ears are actually fine now but he can wait till tomorrow night to be let back in!
