DD fast asleep after a lovely day looking at Christmas decorations at a local garden centre with a friend and her DS, DP at his home with his DD, DDog curled up next to me adorning my snack stash (of which he unfortunately cannot have any of) and I'm in bed, at 7pm, alone, with cake and chocolate. I feel absolutely content and ready for a big day out at the zoo tomorrow with DD, DP and DP's DD.

Wild or not, what are you up to tonight?

Just tucked my dc into bed, one by one. I need to go and tell my older ones to put their books away shortly. After that dh and I are going to have some red wine and snacks, and watch some scandi-noir. I bought a new blanket today. I'm another one of these crazy-about-autumn types, who were getting on the summer-loving people's nerves on a thread a week or so ago 😆

Curled up on the sofa under a quilt,
waiting for our Chinese takeaway.
DD’s asleep, but a bit snotty and snuffly, so hoping she doesn’t wake up. DP’s having a shower.
We’ll stuff our faces and then watch something comforting and undemanding like Repair Shop or Grand Designs.

Waiting for my DP to get our almost 2yo DD to sleep so I can start dinner, don't want it to be ready then left in the oven. We tried a new idea of taking her up to bed a bit later as she always falls asleep at 8pm but it seems she actually needs an hour of saying 'don't like it' in her bed before she can fall asleep Hmm. Feel a bit hopeless about bedtime ever getting easier. Just had a 0% Heineken to cheer me up. Hoping to have time to watch a bit of TV together before I get tired and have to sleep.

I've just had a lovely catch up chat on the phone with a long-standing friend. I 've been browsing MN since speaking to her, and listening to spotify - one of my favourite songs came up on my random play list.
Picking DC up from a club, and then I'm going to find some chocolate, and watch some TV.

I managed to get home from work early, went for a quick drink with Dh then home to cook Thai curry for ds1, 16 and his gf and ds2, 13. Fairly rowdy family dinner, boys on good form, everyone in a good mood, now drinking coffee, eating salted caramel dark chocolate (from Lidl - amazing!) and watching Gogglebox. A pretty perfect Friday night in my book.

Sat in a hospital bed, with gall stones listening to the 94 year old lady next to me snore very loudly and the lady on the other side press the button for the nurse every 15 ish mins all night long!!!

I just started reading Tiffany B lives here, so I’m going to put on my nice warm pajamas, make some white hot chocolate and add some marshmallows, prepare a snack tray. I have some lovely French cheese that I got this afternoon, along with some Italian cold cuts, some nice crisps, and some chocolate covered figs. I am a night owl, and usually up quite late. I also have chocolate bath bombs, so if I’m still up at 3 AM, I will use one of those.

That'll be one of my days off work so I can concentrate on doing more tidying up. Only one room and it doesn't half need it!!!
