Dh and I disagreeing about this. Would you take a dog who is in season out for a meal in a pub beer garden at Saturday lunchtime? She would be on a lead the whole time.

No.

Y7drama · 15/09/2022 21:25

No I wouldn’t.

BattenburgDonkey · 15/09/2022 21:25

No I wouldn’t, it’s just not necessary really is it.

No, you shouldnt even be walking the dog, surely?

puffylovett · 15/09/2022 21:25

Mmm I probably would? but with the option to put her in the car if there were other dogs around and they were bothering her or clearly being bothered by her scent.

HoundHound · 15/09/2022 21:25

No definitely not

bloodywhitecat · 15/09/2022 21:25

No, absolutely not.

PestorPeston · 15/09/2022 21:26

No, until you get her spayed you get to live a fairly boring life during seasons or leave her at home.

vipersnest1 · 15/09/2022 21:27

No!
What a ridiculous question. Do you want to be fighting off randy males the whole time you are there? Not fair on the males or your dog either.

KangarooKenny · 15/09/2022 21:27

No, absolutely not.

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · 15/09/2022 21:27

no.

xams · 15/09/2022 21:28

Hell no!

User2145738790 · 15/09/2022 21:28

Is this a real question? How does her being on a lead stop male dogs that aren't on leads jumping on her?

jackstini · 15/09/2022 21:29

No
Not fair on her, other dogs or people

SirChenjins · 15/09/2022 21:29

No - and I wish that people would stop taking their in season bitches to busy places and then getting all narky when my dog decides he quite likes the look of them. It makes for an unpleasant time for both of us.

pattihews · 15/09/2022 21:30

No, and if you do I hope the dog owners whose male dogs are driven crazy by her tell you off. It's a really mean thing to do.

Asdf12345 · 15/09/2022 21:30

Absolutely not in a million years, unless you want to get barred…

wetotter · 15/09/2022 21:31

No of course not.

DBitch needs to be at home, with walks when necessary planned round local quiet times (and places where you are unlikely to encounter off-lead dogs) and with her definitely on lead all the time

SmallestInTheClass · 15/09/2022 21:31

No, definitely not.

Nancydrawn · 15/09/2022 21:31

Absolutely not. Spay your dog or leave her at home.

LadyCatStark · 15/09/2022 21:37

No for God’s sake unless you want the pub to be off limits to all unneutered males and even some neutered ones who’ll all be driven crazy long after you’ve left. It’s completely unfair on your bitch too as she might be scared by the attention or even become pregnant.

Irridescantshimmmer · 15/09/2022 21:37

Its the other dogs that may get a little tooooooooo keen which might be the issue and alll hell could break loose.

On the other hand, it could end up like a scene from a carry on film.

katmunchkin · 15/09/2022 21:37

No, especially if she's in the stage where she's bleeding everywhere! Blush

GreenManalishi · 15/09/2022 21:40

Nope. No. Never.

Welliesintherain · 15/09/2022 21:41

No not fair on your dog or any other dogs…

I can’t think of a single reason I’d subject an in heat dog to a pub visit
