I do when I’ve got too much in and I’m stressed and overwhelmed

I just know I’m quiet and not as much fun as I feel I should be

Yes, especially today, when my 13 year old DD has told me that I've done everything wrong by doing too much for her, not letting her decide on homework time, bedtimes, chores and not letting her grow up. She probably has a point, but it still feels shit.

But my best friend is a family liaison officer and that helps to ground me and make me realise I'm not fucking it all up.

Yes. My teens have MH problems and I blame myself for not ensuring they have more resilience.

Fwiw I did my best. I've put life and soul into being a mum, at the expense of my health etc.
