I have so many questions I'd love to ask you

Hi, I'm on the IOM, what would you like to know?

Hello! We are moving there next year. My husband's Nana lives there (she's very very old so doesn't have a clue about all these questions). We have visited every years for as long as I can remember and we wanted to make the move.

Mostly considering education. 1 child will be starting sixth form - where do they all go for a-levels? Are there better or worse schools? Other child will be starting high school, so again, are any of the high schools best avoided or catchment areas worth trying to buy in specifically?

Other son is T1 diabetic so need to think about his healthcare but I'll get in touch with them about that.

Next question is about sport. We love all the opportunities for them in sport but wouldn't have a clue how to get them started. Looking particularly for girls football and tennis (she plays tennis at county level where we live in England).

Really stupid question possibly but what about banking? We are currently with Natwest but would we need to move to an IOM bank?

banking-there's a local.branch of natwest in douglas
high schools there's 5, Ramsey Grammar( Ramsey), Queen Elizabeth II(Peel), Castle Rushen(Castletown) and St Ninians and Ballakermeen in Douglas. They all have sixth forms and there is also the IOM college which offers a variety of courses.

Nhs over here, similar to UK, hospital is Nobles in Douglas, travel to Liverpool for specialities.

If you want to know about dodgy areas I'll pm you(small community and don't want to risk being identified🙄)

Also one private secondary-King Williams in castletown, boarding +day pupils
