Need a hand hold. Partner in A&E

My partner has been rushed into A&E with chest pains radiating round to his mid back.
He's young. Only 28, and we are due to be getting married in 5 days.

I'm devastated, terrified and everything else possible.

He's currently in for blood tests. He's yellow in complexion and vomiting every 30 minutes or so.

We both had gastric surgery back in February of this year and I've already had gallstone issues, but didn't have it this severe. Part of me wonders if it is gallstones for him too, but I'm not certain.

He's had an ECG which came back normal. It's awful seeing him like this.

I'm trying to be strong but just in floods of tears.

Are you the person who posted the other week, but he wouldn’t go to A and E?

Yes both topics were identical, including the detail of gastric surgery in February and the first comment being from the OP as well. However MN deleted my post mentioning that, as well as all posts on the other topic for suggesting it may have been a hoax (there was no update on the other thread).

applecinnamonpie · 06/09/2022 09:11

I can confirm it is certainly not a hoax. I have absolutely no reason to make up something as awful as this.
Yes I am the same poster as before (name changed)

I hope he's doing ok.

@applecinnamonpie how is your partner doing now? I’ve had friends end in hospital with pancreatitis caused by gallstones and describe it as the worst pain imaginable!!

As an almost 11 year veteran of gastric sleeve surgery gallstones are something that I’m always on the lookout for if I get unexplained abdo pain.

Wishing your DP all the best. Hope today is better.
