Can I ask a Q about Covid?

DH has Covid. Came up straight away on an antigen test on Sat. His symptoms have developed since. I have got exact same symptoms since yesterday evening, but still testing negative.

Did anyone else "have" it but never get the positive? Or is it probably going to show up over the next couple of days?

I assume I have it, it is unlikely I picked up something else, isn't it?

We haven't (knowingly) had it up to now. My mates have all said it showed up quickly on antigen test, like DH's did. I'd rather a positive to know, than be wondering

Thanks

Hope you're doing ok @SilentHedges
I am on a day off today so taking it easy. Feel pretty rough but I reckon I will be OK to work tomorrow, if I don't feel any worse.
Very glad I have option to wfh.

My DP and I spent the weekend together. DP tested positive on the Monday morning. I felt off colour Monday night but didn't test positive till the Wednesday night. We definitely caught it at the same time.

We are not allowed to go to work if we are positive.

Feel better soon OP.

I tested positive a couple of months ago, DP had the same symptoms a few days after me and continued to test negative, very odd

I hope you feel OK too. Day 3, I've been off work today too and also lucky to have wfh option. Aches and shooting pains, especially on left side of my head today. I'm going to take tomorrow off as my job is stressful, so I don't want it setting my recovery back. Be careful you don't do the same, as its easy to think you're, "ok".

It's getting very boring stuck in one room, talking to my OH through the door or on the phone!

Over the last few hours I have started to get sharpish shooting pains in my legs and my headache is worse. Good tip about not overdoing it. I can take time off if needed, I just need to do a few hours to handover stuff.

It is handy that DH has it too, he isn't as bad as me, but we are keeping each other company.

Please please if you can rest and call in sick to work. Your body needs time to recover.

Thank you, I'll definitely take it easy
