I'm booked for c section tomorrow

Eek. I'm booked in to c section tomorrow for my second baby.

I would be lying if unsaid I was excited. I am so bloody nervous. Praying all goes ok. Worried about leaving my toddler.

Section due to very difficult labour and 4th degree tear last time.

It just feels very surreal.

It only lasts a couple of days but I'd definitely get some peppermint tea and Windeze to help!

Brought I would update as it always drives me mad when the op doesn't haha.

We came home yesterday afternoon with our beautiful baby boy. Our toddler was absolutely thrilled.

The operation itself was brilliant. So calming and tbe staff were fantastic. I'm so grateful for our NHS. I'm sore but that's to be expected.

I feel so much different to my first birth which was a relatively quickly labour but nasty 4th degree tear and PPH. I am so much more with it and awake and just happy. It's made me realise how bad it was last time.

Anyway. Nutshell. Baby is amazing. Lovely to be home and thank god for thE NHS.
