What’s everyone up to on the 1st Saturday of September.

The 1st Saturday of my favourite month, love Autumn!! 😍 What is everyone up to!

We woke up about an hour ago and have had a very lazy start to the day. We have DH’s parents staying over for a night before they drive home today so it’s been nice to wake up a little earlier and not go straight to hosting!

DH has gone to bring our ponies in and give them their breakfast and pick up milk as we realised on the 1st pot of tea that it had turned.

We have croissants and posh jam for breakfast and I’m just about to go and prod our 3 DD’s (two of which should definitely have been up with their dad helping with the horses, he’s a soft touch!!!)

DH’s parents will probably leave around mid-morning and then it’s a day of running DD’s around to various friends houses and cinema etc.

Youngest DD has a XC event tomorrow which we need to walk the course for today and I’m looking forward too, love getting wellies on and going for a good stomp with the dog.

Then back here to put on the beef rendang curry, light the candles and binge watch something that we’ve not decided on yet…

DH is away with work, eldest DD has a cold and a high temperature so it's a duvet day here. Shame to spend the weekend before school starts at home but it's also quite nice to just chill. I'd love to pop out to the shops to look at all the autumnal bits but never mind!

We're off for day 2 of Moseley folk festival. I won't lie though. I'm knackered and could be happy doing bugger all 😂

Shopping with DC, getting their uniform all sorted, bake a cake with DC and watch the Artemis launch tonight with them.
We're really into NASA and spaceX so very excited!
Probably fit in some reading too as it's pouring down today. Nice chilled out weekend.

Leaving home in about 30 minutes to take my Rainbow leaders Brownies (she does 2 units) on their annual sleepover. Just been up to M & S for some nice pop and snacks for later (if/when the girls are in bed).

I got up fairly early with good intentions, did the housework and then was going to head out for a brisk, early ish walk. However I made the fatal mistake of sitting down and browsing the Internet and haven't moved since! Whoops.

Hoping to head to a food festival with my family this afternoon, although half of them are still asleep atm, teenagers!

Then oh is out with friends this evening, so I shall have an evening nap, with my alarm clock set so I don't forget to pick him up in the early hours.

I love Autumn but it's not Autumn yet! But today we will be removing the spent flowers from the window boxes and planting up with pansies. Doing some weeding etc. getting ready fur start of school so getting supplies and clothes sorted (sixth form so no uniform).

That's ok. I am just working out how to explain to DH that I will have my headphones on for 6 hours and not to disturb me. Although saying that the line up involves acts I am not mad keen on or never heard of so there will be breaks.

My Birthday month! Love Autumn .Find heat too much.Going for lunch later on with family looking forward to it .Sat with doggy on my feet at present!

Taking my toddler DS to the park to play on this scooter and feed the ducks. Simple pleasures.

I am so excited for autumn! I am 36 weeks pregnant today and just finishing setting up for baby and getting hospital bits ready. Later we are going for a walk in crystal palace Park and getting some lunch. Perfect 🥰

Forgot to say it's my 1st wedding anniversary this month!
