Whitefield or Prestwich?

Hi Moving up from London to Manchester have 2 sons aged 3 and 1 have a budget of 700k we have found 2 properties 1 in Prestwich and the other in Whitefield which area is better?

Can anyone recommend a cleaner in the prestwich area

I’d choose Prestwich, there’s some decent restaurants/ cafes there now and Heaton Park is a big plus.

You’re looking at around 20/25 mins on the tram on the Bury line to get to town but there are enough places to go for a nice meal and drinks out in Prestwich without having to go into town.
