Weighted teddy for adults

I have a teddy!! But I wonder if they do weighted ones that help with anxiety. I've seen them for kids but not very big and 4kg weight doesn't seem enough??

Has anyone heard of anything like this?
( I do have a blanket but sometimes feels too much)

I know it sounds daft but if you are looking for heavier, look for a weighted door stop

@ofwarren beat me to it. I was also going to suggest a weighted door stop. We've got one in the shape of a dog (looks just like a cuddly toy) but is weighted because it's a doorstop, works really well.

I bought one of my kids with SEN a weighted toy, but then they were gifted at Christmas a microwaveable teddy that is much heavier, now I recommend them to others as a weighted toy alternative. Not the ones that have a removable pouch, the ones with grains sewn inside and you put the whole thing in. If you don't want an animal, the wheat bags are cheaper and have a nice weight to them, I have one I find really helps me sleep when I put it over my eyes, like a weighted sleep mask but heavier.

@merily is it heavy enough to make a difference to an adult?

This sounds interesting. Do you use it just for sleeping?

Is it one of those you can heat up for eye problems? I have one and they're great, and you can put them in the fridge too.

We have a squirrel that would probably do the trick. He's from tk maxx and pretty hefty. Although his whiskers would need a trim as they are a bit spiky.

No just a cheap basic wheat bag like this, I just drape it over my face 😂. I put it over my face one morning to block out the daylight coming in through a gap in the curtains one weekend morning and it was a revelation. I did request a weighted eye mask for Christmas, but I was accidently bought a built in headphone eye mask instead (which I always forget to use) and actually, the wheat bag does the trick just fine and is much cheaper than an eye mask and has multi-uses.
