Where to go for good weather, lovely sea and quiet beach?

We had a lovely Mediterranean holiday with all we wanted in terms of weather and beaches but it was a bit crowded. I would love to go somewhere next year with all of the above but quieter beaches. Where have you been that fits the bill?

Anyone?

Covehithe in Suffolk. Went there last year and had empty, golden beaches and lovely weather.

Greek islands that you have to get a ferry to. Syros and Tinos are favourites of ours. Less than an hour ferry from Mykonos.

Not been (yet) but friends say the islands around the Croatian coast were like desert islands and they loved them. On my list of places to go.

Anywhere in Greece really. Crete, Rhodes all way quieter than Spain say.

We were in southern Brittany for the past few weeks. Gorgeous weather, huge deserted beaches, restaurants quiet but not dead, pretty towns with fabulous markets, easy to get to by car but far enough that it wasn't Little England. So much to do for our kids besides filling my need for tranquility. Please don't go there 😁

Seconded- my favourite beach in England.

For hotter weather, how about Paxos? Not quiet-quiet but not heaving.

Have you looked at Cape Verde, Sal Island?

Formentera. It has no airport so is very quiet compared to the rest of the med.

If you're looking at Greek Islands consider Poros.
It's one of the smaller ones and very traditional, tavernas and family run hotels.
Doesn't get the crowds of the bigger ones, as most people don't know it exists!
