Help me book a holiday!

I've got some unexpected time off work. I'd like to take DD somewhere (she's 3). Thinking somewhere cheap like Spain, Portugal in Southern Europe.

Any websites that I can just put my dates in and it will give me options? I'm fixed on dates but don't mind where we go.

Have you never booked a holiday before

There are countless websites you put dates in and see options Hmm

Just go on jet2 or Tui or something similar

No. Pre DD I did things like GAP adventures or backpacking.

I've never booked a package holiday before.

I'm looking for a website that I just put my dates into and it gives me options available on those dates. Any suggestions?

All the ones I've found make me put a destination and dates in then I have to scroll through all the destinations for it to say no holidays available on those dates.

Loads

TUI
Jet2
On the Beach
Love Holidays

Just leave the destination blank and say the dates are fixed...

Cheeky trip.
Great website. Will sort places per dates.

What about a site like srprs.me .... the idea being you don't actually know where you're going until you get to the airport.
I haven't done it myself...yet but know people that have. You put in the dates, places you definitely don't want to go to, type of accommodation (basic to luxury) etc.
The only info you get beforehand are things like the weather forecast so you can plan what to pack, any visa requirements etc and of course when and where you're flying from.

I've been living overseas but will definitely look at doing this when I'm back

I love Holiday Pirates for good deals

With 3 years old you need simple approach. I would go on Jet2 holidays website, put your dates, put the most convenient airport for you, then choose destination and then sort out family favorites. The destination depends on when you wants to go. Is it soon? We are in Alcudia atm (Mallorca). Beautiful place - perfect for a holiday with a small child. Highly recommended!

LER83 · 29/08/2022 11:59

Go on Jet2. Pick the airport you want to fly from, then you can select several destinations, so tick Spain, Portugal etc. Put in dates then pick somewhere from the list. If it comes up then its available for the dates you want.

BarbaraofSeville · 29/08/2022 13:03

Look in the deals section of jet2 holidays.

Use the filters to select/deselect destinations, choose the type of accommodation, trip advisor rating and board basis then pick something from what comes up.

Not sure when your planned dates are but I'm sure I read somewhere the other day that there are strikes planned in September for Spanish airport workers so you may want to check the dates or give Spain a miss if you're going next month.

Oh shit. I've just booked Spain for September.

I used on the beach but then booked directly and saved £100.
