Intense stomach pain...anyone else had similar?

Since 1pm yesterday I developed excruciating stomach pain/stabbing/cramps. It comes in episodes. So my whole tummy area from a few inches above my belly button, to the pelvic area is constantly sore and tender- really hurts if I press on it.
However every 20-30 mins I get severe pain which doubles me over and I can't do anything.
I also have a very slight temp and can feel sick with the pain.
However no diarrhoea.

I don't want to bother the GP as it'll probably go on its own. I'm wondering if it's a tummy bug but without the diarrhea.

Going to buy an over the counter UTI testing kit shortly as I've been weeing more for the last 2 week (waking around 3 times a night). However I've had UTI's in the past and the symptoms are nothing like this. It's not uncomfortable to wee, no burning or urgency, or feeling like I can't empty my bladder.

Anyone experienced similar?

Hope you get more answers soon

Sorry ignore me I should've read the whole thread. Well done on being seen.

Thank you again all for the replies. I was allowed some lunch, although I'm not really hungry. Just had by pelvic ultrasound and waiting for it to be reviewed (although the radiographer said she couldn't see anything concerning), doesn't explain my bulky uterus and the fact it has milk like fluid inside, but will see what the doctor says.
Hopefully I can go home soon. I'm absolutely exhausted.
However I do also realise I'm lucky to get such a thorough examination. I've been having issues my c section, so been awaiting investigation. I'm lucky to finally get it.

How are you now op?

Somethingtoask · 27/08/2022 21:32

Thank you @1AngelicFruitCake and @Givemeallthegin8 for asking.

I was discharged yesterday. It's all a bit annoying as the first doctor gave me my results and scared me, going on about my inflamed bowel etc. Also said I had a bulky uterus, fluid in my uterus, fluid elsewhere and was going on about the fact I had missed smears (I have never missed a smear, especially as I had to have a biopsy after my first ever smear in my early twenties.
I spoke with the consultant in the morning who was going on about Crohn's, mentioned surgery and steroids. Then the third doctor said the Consultant Radiologist had checked my CT and wasn't convinced it's Crohn's. So I've got to go back for an MRI and colonoscopy. So I've no idea what is going on but I'm feeling anxious about cancer.
They don't seem concerned about my uterus issues but a "bulky uterus" can mean several things. Presumably they ruled out cancer but who knows. It can also cause a lot of issues that I've been experiencing for the last 3 years.

I'm on 2 lots of antibiotics, not having the severe waves of pain. The waves hurt but less severe but my tummy feels swollen and sore.

It all sounds very scary but the doctors know what they are doing. After a flare of my Crohns my tummy feels like I've been doing lots of sit ups. It's all tender and even walking makes it feel sore. Everything will be a lot clearer after the further tests.

SecretDoor · 28/08/2022 10:43

Are they suggesting you have diverticulitis?

Somethingtoask · 28/08/2022 10:58

@MistyRock my tummy feels the same, tender and sore. The lower right was agony when they pressed it for examination. I just don't feel likely it's Crohn's, but then that's probably because my friend who was diagnosed with it lost several stone, had blood in her stools and couldn't control her bowels. So her case was extreme.

@SecretDoor I don't think so. Nobody has mentioned diverticulitis. The two elderly gentlemen say near me were diagnosed with it.
The second doctor said the way my bowel was positioned was the same way as in crohns and I had inflammation. I suppose I just have to wait for the MRI and colonoscopy. Who knows how long that will be.
